The Women’s News book is a collection of wonderful, entertaining and funny stories, which is one of the books of the original literary heritage. The book was first printed in Egypt in the year 1319 AH, attributed to Ibn al-Qayyim. Nizar Reda in his publication of the book attributed to Ibn al-Qayyim, and the material of the book testifies that it is far from written by Ibn al-Qayyim, whose scientific and literary personality is prominent in all his writings. The book is based on nine chapters, without an introduction. It is in the descriptions of women and their morals.
The focus of this book revolves around the moral nature of women, supported by evidence and supporting facts from researchers, discussions of the authors, in addition to stories and anecdotes under the framework of this topic. This topic is of great importance because it is necessary for men to know the news of women, to know their nature that God has made them, and to be familiar with all their affairs, in order to determine the way he deals with them.

He is Abu Al-Faraj Abdul Rahman bin Ali bin Muhammad bin Obaid Allah bin Abdullah bin Hammadi bin Ahmed bin Jaafar and ends with Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq. He lived his life in the last phase of the Abbasid state, when the Seljuk Turks took control of the Abbasid state.
He was known as Ibn al-Jawzi for a walnut tree that was in his house in Wasit, and there was no walnut tree in the town but it, and it was said: It is related to the walnut tree, which is the port of the Basra River.
Ibn al-Jawzi enjoyed wide fame, and a great position in rhetoric, preaching, and classification, as he emerged in many sciences and arts.
