Temur is rightfully considered one of the outstanding commanders of the world. But his talent was revealed in three guises - as a prominent commander, as an outstanding statesman and patron of science and culture.
From childhood, Temur showed interest in the art of war. Amir Temur created a disciplined army, provided it with experienced commanders, skillfully led military units, promptly sent auxiliary military forces to places where the fate of the battle was decided.
The ability to break through the enemy defenses by any means; inflict a sudden decisive blow on the major cities of countries hostile to him; besieging fortresses surrounded by ramparts for a long time, encircling and capturing enemy forces, and successfully fulfilling other strategic plans brought Amir Temur many well-deserved victories.
The reign of Amir Temur lasted 35 years. He created a centralized state stretching from the Indus and the Ganges to the Syrdarya and Zeravshan, from the Tien Shan to the Bosphorus. In total, he was able to unite 27 states and regions
Possessing the gift of an organizer and leader, Temur always kept his finger on the pulse of life, without losing a sense of reality. Thanks to Temur, a new type of statehood was created for the first time in Central Asia. In his state activity, he relied on three provisions - on the firmness of faith, justice and strong power, the basis of which was the principle "Strength in justice."
The skillfully organized political administration of Amir Temur became the reason for a powerful rise in culture, the development of spirituality and the growth of the people's well-being.
Thanks to Temur's purposeful policy of selecting and concentrating the best masters in Samarkand, a unique situation of synthesis of achievements and skills of the best masters of the East is emerging in Maverannahr. In the last quarter of the XIV century. Samarkand was saturated with the best calligraphers, miniature masters, brought by Amir Temur from various regions of India, the Near and Middle East, which contributed to the development of the process of mutual enrichment of artists of the Central Asian school and newly arrived masters.
The deeds of Amir Temur on the revival and all-round development of the Great Silk Road contributed to the free exchange of information between East and West, the formation of a single information space through the production and unhindered movement of books. This served as the most important basis for the development of science, the rise of culture, and the prosperity of human civilization.
The quiz promotes interest in the study of the history of Uzbekistan, is aimed at organizing cultural, leisure and other events among young people, both pre-conscription and military service, in order to promote national traditions, culture and study the history of great ancestors.
