The sprite animation player allows you to easily test the appearance of a sprite animation, regardless of whether it is a sprite sheet or a separate sprite package.
To test a sprite sheet, open the sprite sheet you want to play and indicate the rows and columns the sprite sheet contains, then press the Done ✔ button.
If you want certain rows or columns of sprites to not show in the animation, you can split the sprite sheet by pressing the blue squares button, then press the row or column you want to exclude and mark it with a ❌.
If you want certain sprites not to show in the animation, you can split the sprite sheet by pressing the blue squares button, then press the sprite you want to exclude and mark it with a ❌ .
When you split the sprite sheet you will see that each sprite has a number at the top, that number indicates the index of that sprite, the animation will play in ascending order of indices, you can change the index of the sprites to play the animation in whatever order you want, but make sure you don't repeat the same index in multiple sprites.
To test a sprite pack separately, open the sprites you want to play, then press the Done ✔ button, the animation will play in ascending order of indices, you can change the index of the sprites to play the animation in any order you like, if you mark a sprite with a ❌, that sprite will be excluded from the animation.
By default, the time between frames in seconds is set to 0.1, but you can change this as you like.
The sprite animation player has 6 playback modes:
MODE: Normal
MODE: Reversed
MODE: Loop
MODE: Loop Reversed
MODE: Loop Ping Pong
MODE: Loop Random
You can switch modes while the animation is playing.
You can save the sprite animation as a gif, it can be saved in MODE: Loop or Loop Reversed and the speed of the gif is set by default.
