Contrast is the difference between lighter and darker areas of an image. Increasing contrast on the image will increase the light in the light areas and dark areas will become dark. 

Saturation when increased it will add more color and light and when decreased the image will lose its color. Sharpen when it is increased the image will be more clear and when decreased it will become dull.

Splash

In this option you have Shape and Draw. Shape is used to highlight your face in the image. By selecting draw the image will become black and white and when you draw on it color will add and rest of the image will be in black and white.
