For years we have heard repeatedly in the media that a pollution beret covers Madrid. At the same time, environmentalists alarmed us of the serious consequences but in the other hand politicians didn't take it seriously. The beret is there, it is a fact that can not be denied, we can see with our eyes most part of the year, but without a clear and accurate information we can not as citizens get our own conclusions in an objective and responsible manner.
This App obtains the information from the Open Data source of the Madrid City Council and has been developed independently without any official link with the City Council or the Public Administration.
This application is intended as a tool to think about for anyone residing or visiting not only Madrid but also the autonomous region. With it you can learn the latest available average hourly real-time pollution levels from Surveillance Network of the City of Madrid and Surveillance Network of the Community of Madrid. Also information about pollutants and their consequences as well as the ability to download in PDF the European Regulatory Framework and National format for those more interested in the subject.
