With this app, you can log all expenses of your household for 14 days and get a good overview of the spending situation of your household.
Access to the app household book is only possible for participants of the consumer survey 2019/20 (Statistik Austria) with the pre-submitted login data.
In the case of consumption surveys, expenditure is recorded in great detail in a budget book for 14 days. The electronic budget book is available as a desktop version and as an app, both versions can be used in parallel and by several household members.
The electronic budget book has many advantages, leading to a significant reduction in the burden on the households surveyed:
• A built-in search function makes it easy to enter. Often a few letters are enough to find the desired product. But even "new" terms can be easily entered and assigned to a product group.
• If something is bought more often, the corresponding entry can be copied as often as desired and moved to the appropriate day.
• You do not want a specific issue to be visible to all other household members? With one click, she can be "hidden" from the others (such as the birthday present for the wife) and is only visible to you.
• The total expenditure of your household is displayed in an overview by product group. This expense summary can also be filtered by persons and days. This gives you an overview of your personal spending situation and that of the entire household. This allows you to use the budget book as an instrument for budget control and personal savings.
• You can activate a daily reminder function that reminds you to record the expenses at a personally chosen time.
At the end of the 14-day household bookkeeping, the budget book is completed by the responsible person in the household (= contact person) and the data are transmitted to Statistics Austria.
