Guitar tuning assistant is an easy-to-use tuner for tuning guitar. You can get very accurate tuning results from the APP.
Firstly, keeping the environment as quiet as possible is an important prerequisite, because noise will affect the accuracy of analysis results or cause analysis failure.
Then the APP will uses a special method to analyze the pitch value of string's vibration. The method is totally different from most existing tuning app's methods. With this method, the APP will sample string's vibration as long as possible, that is because, according to the knowledge of digital signal processing, the longer the vibrating duration is, the more accurate the analysis result is.
At the last, the APP uses cents(music) difference between target pitch value and string pitch value to evaluate string pitch value's qualification. Since most people can't distinguish the difference of three cents, so when the difference between string pitch value and the target pitch value is in three cents, it is considered that the string is in tune.
