CRIOLLO is a utility application for mobile devices that allows calculating the main operation parameters of boom ground sprays and performing the corresponding static verification.
When using the application, it is possible to calculate alternatively the advance speed of the equipment, the working pressure and the spray volume for a peak size and a determined distance between peaks. It is also possible to verify the peaks and obtain a quick diagnosis of their status.
The information generated from the input of the data and the calculations made is compiled in a report that can be saved in PDF format and shared via email and / or WhatsApp. Once installed, the use of Criollo does not require signal availability or access to the network. These services are only necessary if you want to share the generated reports.
This application was developed by INTA, from its Hilario Ascasubi Agricultural Experimental Station, dependent on the Buenos Aires Sur Regional Center. Its authors were Juan Pablo D'Amico and Santiago Crocioni.
For the development of the application CRIOLLO was based on the following sources of information: for the list of peaks with standardized color code was based on the criteria of ISO 10625 (2005) Equipment for crop protection-Sprayer nozzles-Color coding for identification. While for, the calculation equations were taken from the book Agricultural Land Sprays by Agustín Onorato and Omar Tesouro, Ediciones INTA. 2006
