Clono is an electronic scoresheet and broadcasting system for chess tournaments
Clono is a tablet-based electronic scoresheet that replaces traditional paper-based scoresheets. The games are sent to Clono Server and can be broadcasted live on the internet.
Clono combines electronic chess notation and live broadcast of chess tournaments in an easy, affordable and secure way. It is easy to use and set up, and there is no need for electronic chess boards, cabling or an on-site engineer. The system consists of Clono Admin Panel (web), Clono Scoresheet (app) and Clono Chess Cast (web).
The app has two modes:
1) Quick game: The players can set up the game details themselves and use clono as electronic scoresheet, a chess clock or both. The games can be broadcasted live on Clono Quicklive. The app can also be used completely offline. When the game is finished the pgn can be copied to clipboard or sent on email.
2) Tournament mode: Connect the app to a tournament managed in Clono Admin Panel. The tablet will be assigned to a logical table number or player, and during the tournament receive the game details for the game that shall be played on that table in each round. During game, a new pgn is sent to the server for each move, and the game can be watched live on Clono Chess Cast.
Safe and secure in tournament use
When used in tournaments, Clono app runs on a tablet completely controlled by the tournament organizer. The game data is encrypted, security sent to the Clono Server move by move and the game is broadcasted live with custom set delay.
